Our Products Portfolio

Safari XLPE (Chemically cross linked closed cell polyethylene foam insulation) for Ducting

HVAC ( heating, ventilation & air conditioning ) is important in the design of medium/ large industrial and office buildings where building conditions are regulated with respect to temperature and humidity.

Safari XLPE is suitable for all applications, providing a good quality product and value for money.

Safari XLPE is available in roll and sheet form. The material in Plain form or factory laminated with one side with Aluminium foil, Met foil, UV barrier film, Glass Cloth. We can also supply XLPE factory laminated foil on both sides.

Our standard range of thickness is from 3mm to 50 mm however higher thickness can also be given as per the requirement.

Safari XLPE is available in Class 1 and Class O.

Applications
  • Clean the surface to be insulated thoroughly. Insulation is not recommended where there is incrustation or other flaws which could prevent the sheeting from sticking properly.
  • Mark the measurements of the surface to be lagged on the sheeting and cut the required size out of the roll.
  • Apply glue as recommended to the surface which has to adhere to the conduit and to the conduit surface.
  • Use glue to join the edges together. For better results XLPE tapes could be used on joints.

Safari XLPE Tubing

Safari XLPE tubing is suitable for all insulation applications, both civil and industrial. Insulating the piping of cooling, heating or air conditioning systems require a methodical and thorough approach.

Safari XLPE Tubing are suitable for Copper Tubes/ Steel Pipes, CPVC Pipes and MS C Class Pipes.

The tubing are available in different thickness. Our standard thickness for tubing are from 6mm to 32 mm however they can be customised as per customer requirement.

The tubing are available in Plain, laminated with Aluminium foil, or Metalised film, UV film or with glass cloth.

Applications
  • Clean the surface properly.
  • Safari XLPE tubing must be cut along its length to fit in.
  • Position the tube so that edges are separated and apply even layer of recommended glue.
  • Once the glue has dried up reseal the tube, pressing the edges firmly together.
  • In case of insulating piping of a bigger dia, mark and cut out the length required from a Safari XLPE roll/sheet.
  • Apply a layer of glue along each edge and allow to dry.
  • Wrap the insulation sheet around the pipes and press the glued edges together.

Safari XLPE for Underdeck of RCC Roofs

Underdeck insulation is often neglected but most important techniques to reduce the heat inflow. Underdeck insulation ensures low consumption of energy.45%- 50% energy loss in buildings are from roof, if we can control the loss we have recovered the cost of underdeck Safari XLPE is now widely used for under deck application. The product is excellent material for thermal as well as for acoustic purpose. Since the product is Fire retardant it is safe for internal use.

The product is available in Class 1 and Class O

We can supply Safari XLPE in Plain, factory laminated with one side / both sides laminated with Aluminium foil, Met Pet, UV film and glass cloth.

Applications
  • Clean the RCC roof slab thoroughly of any oil. Sharp edges of cast concrete to ensure proper adhesion of the insulating material, without airgaps
  • Mark the surface of the slab for fixing for dash fasteners @600mm equidistance in all directions.
  • Fix the dash fasteners from one end of the room till the other end so as to completely cover the surface.
  • Place the Safari XLPE of required thickness against the ceiling from one end to another, fastening with the dash fasteners by nut and washers. The insulation is pressed properly to the roof slab to avoid air gaps.
  • Fix 75mm x 24G hexagonal GI wire against the insulation for supporting the insulation to the ceiling to avoid any sagging with passage of time.

Underdeck insulation for pre-engineered buildings

Underdeck insulation for pre- engineered buildings is the fastest accepting methodology by consultants to eliminate heat transfer between outer and inner space. Earlier it was often neglected but most important tool to reduce the heat inflow.

Appox 45%-50% of heat is transferred from roof and around 25% is transferred from side walls. Hence more and more people are now preferring to get their industrial sheds insulated for roof as well as for walls. It does not add much to the cost and payback period in form of lower energy bill is very short.

It makes significant input for reducing green house gas emissions.

Important factors for Underdeck Insulation with Safari XLPE
  • Light Weight
  • Effective heat barrier
  • Reduces green house emissions hence contributing to society
  • Easy and fast Installation
  • Can be done on new installations as well as old
  • Cost effective & reduces electricity bills
  • Increases cooling efficiency in the building
  • It is fire and noise resistant

Applications

Plant and Railways

Safari XLPLE insulating material in tube and sheet form for the purpose of air-conditioning of Plants and railways.

In case of fire break out on train human life is at a greater risk, it is essential that even during a breakout of fire safe, evacuation of passengers and personnel is utmost requirement.

Due to this components that do not further spread the fire are being used in railways which gave to stringent fire safety measures. Safari XLPE has developed products that qualify the safety test.
